Youth Program Coach and Coordinator

Under the club's directions, the Youth Program Coordinator plans to develop, coordinate, and implement
soccer programs for the Thunder FC membership. Perform duties in planning, supervising, coordinating, and
managing programs hosted by Thunder FC.

Duties:
Collaborate with internal and external organizations in planning, organizing, developing, scheduling, and
evaluating recreational soccer programming.
Build good relationships with the players, coaches and parents of the Thunder membership.
Respectful when assisting in coordinating volunteers and respectfully recruit, and supervise volunteer
coaches.
Good listener to be a positive role model to build self-esteem and motivation within players and coaches.
Organize scheduling of facilities and general maintenance of utilized facilities.
Patient and flexible when educating in creating active/healthier skills with players and volunteer coaches.
Attend mentor training sessions as prescribed.
Communicate regularly with club executive, submit activity information, and take constructive feedback.
Soccer net repair.
Line painting.
Equipment organization and distribution with use of a tracking system/spreadsheets.
Cleaning and organizing of storage.
Uniform distribution, tracking.
Coaching players age 3 to 18.
Communications through emails and club online system.
Other tasks as identified.
Qualifications:
Canada Soccer coaching certificates for appropriate levels from U5 to U18. Willingness to obtain if not
already completed.
Be at least 18 years old.
Interested in working with children of varying ability.
Ability to obtain a clean Child Abuse Registry, Criminal Valid Drivers License and access to a vehicle.

Hourly Wager - $14.50

Mileage compensation will be offered.
