Online Registration is Open

All players registering this summer will be registering for the first time with our new Demosphere platform.  If you are a returning player, your household information will NOT be in the system. You will have to click "Create an Account" to get started.  Once your household account is created, you will be able to login for future registrations or to access your account. The form will guide you to the appropriate program based on the ages of the participants.

Our programs this season are as follows;

Costs;

New this season. U13 and above players will be required to have shorts and socks matching the club kit. These are available for purchase when registering. Socks $8 and Shorts $20, this includes taxes. These teams are more likely to play in the NSSL and other systems where kit is required to match. Players below U13 have the option to buy shorts and socks. However, all players will be required to have black shorts and socks*. 

*Note – the shorts and socks requirement does not apply to minis U4 U6 U8, they have kit supplied by the Timbits program.

A breakdown of our costs.

 

Thunder Mini Soccer Program

All sessions will happen on Monday evenings at the Park View Community Field, behind Park View Education Centre (1485 King Street).  Sessions will begin mid to late June and will run for 8 Monday’s finishing up in August.

U4 Minis This program is for players born in 2015
Days and times: Park View Community Field: Monday 5:30-6:15pm

The U4 program is a parent-tot program whereby parents can be expected to be on the field with their kids when needed. This is a mixed gender program which is led by our fully qualified coaches and will follow with the Canadian Soccer Association's (CSA) Long Term Player Development plan (LTPD) ensuring that players learn valuable motor skills in a fun environment.

As part of the program players will receive:
•    A TIMBITS training jersey to keep at the end of the summer
•    A Timbits soccer ball to keep
•    A medal at the end of the summer!
•    A Thunder Club Shirt of their own!


Cost: $70


U6 Minis This program is for players born in 2013 and 2014.
Days and times: Park View Community Field: Monday 6:30-7:30pm


The U6 Foundation program is separated by gender. The program is led by our fully qualified coaches and will follow with the Canadian Soccer Association's (CSA) Long Term Player Development plan (LTPD) ensuring that players learn valuable soccer skills in a fun environment.

There will be 1 session per week that consists of technical practice and games.

As part of the program players will receive:

•    A TIMBITS training jersey to keep at the end of the summer
•    A Timbits soccer ball to keep
•    A medal at the end of the summer!
•    A Thunder Club Shirt of their own!
Cost: $90

U8 Minis This program is for players born in 2011 and 2012
Days and times: Park View Community Field: Monday 6:30-7:30pm

The U8 foundation program is separated by gender and is led by our fully qualified coaches. The U8 program will follow with the Canadian Soccer Association's (CSA) Long Term Player Development plan (LTPD) ensuring that players learn valuable soccer skills in a fun environment.

There will be 1 session per week that consists of technical practice and games. 

As part of the program players will receive:

•    A TIMBITS training jersey to keep at the end of the summer
•    A Timbits soccer ball to keep
•    A medal at the end of the summer!
•    A Thunder Club Shirt of their own!
Cost: $90

Programs are very dependant on registration numbers as well as certified coaches. All programming has the possibility to be changed based on these requirements. To discuss what options are available or to provide aid to ensure each team has a certified coach, please contact ThunderFCPresident@gmail.com

U9, U11, U13 Program

These groups will be entering league-based programming and will use Hebbville Junior High Fields as our home fields. 

•    Minimum 2 sessions per week (more sessions and opportunities may be available as programs develop)
•    1 practice and 1 game (days TBD)
•    Jersey will be provided (to be returned at end of season however some teams are purchasing their kit in order to have the players own them. For more information on this option, please contact ThunderFCPresident@gmail.com)
•    Practice shirt will be provided for the player to keep
•    Socks and shorts are optional for U9-11 during registration and would be kept by the player.
•    Socks and shorts are mandatory for players from U13 to U19 (all players in these leagues are required to have the same kit)

As these registrations are completed and coach’s availability is confirmed. Indoor Gym practices will be scheduled with the expectation of the field being ready in June. These teams will have games in the local District youth league or the NSSL. As registrations are finalized, information on team placements will be forwarded and discussed with each group.


U15, 18 Programs

These groups will be entering league-based programming and will use LaHave Fields for our girls as our home fields. Boys teams will be located at Hebbville.

•    Minimum 2 sessions per week (more sessions and opportunities may be available as programs develop)
•    1 practice and 1 game (days TBD)
•    Jersey will be provided (to be returned at end of season however some teams are purchasing their kit in order to have the players own them. For more information on this option, please contact ThunderFCPresident@gmail.com)
•    Practice shirt will be provided for the player to keep
•    Socks and shorts are mandatory for players from U13 to U19 (all players in these leagues are required to have the same kit)

The girls teams at these ages have decided to enter the NSSL as they did last year.
 
Any boys teams at these ages will have the opportunity to also enter the NSSL if local league play is not possible or they would like to try the NSSL league.
